How it works

In person

I work with children from our bespoke playroom based in Pembury, or in your own home within 30 minutes' travel of Pembury. If you live further away, please get in touch as I may be able to visit for an additional travel fee.

Online

I offer online sessions to parents and carers only. These sessions are designed to give you the confidence to support your child or young person with their upcoming healthcare experience, or you may find it helpful to debrief and process your child’s experience with me.

RtB provides flexible sessions that can be used to support children and young people who are experiencing healthcare, either directly or indirectly. Sessions are provided at our Pembury-based playroom or at your own home. Support for parent(s) only can also be provided online.

We will work together using practical tools and flexible methods tailored completely to your family's specific goals.

Building trust and confidence in medical settings takes time, especially if your child has had a difficult healthcare experience in the past. It is completely normal for children and young people to need more than one session to feel safe, secure, and more trusting of healthcare settings and medical procedures. How quickly they adapt may also depend on their developmental stage, emotional well-being, and unique needs.
